On October 23, 2026, the 8th Gasgoo Awards ceremony was held in Shanghai. HULANE received the Gasgoo Awards 2026: Best Technical Practice Award for its Intelligent Power Distribution Control Box Solution.

Organized by Gasgoo, the 2026 Gasgoo Awards were held under the annual theme “China Solutions, Global Value,” covering a range of key technology areas across the automotive industry. The Best Technical Practice Award focuses on technologies and solutions that have demonstrated practical application and clear industry value, with evaluation criteria including technological innovation, application performance, market validation, and potential for wider adoption.

As vehicle electrification and intelligent technologies continue to advance, automotive electrical/electronic (E/E) architectures are evolving toward domain-based and zonal architectures. Power distribution systems are also evolving toward more responsive, intelligent power management with enhanced monitoring and configuration capabilities.

HULANE’s award-winning Intelligent Power Distribution Control Box Solution integrates high-side driver (HSD), eFuse, and MCU technologies to support semi-intelligent and fully intelligent power distribution architectures for different vehicle requirements. The system supports current sensing, output status monitoring, protection against overcurrent, short circuits, and overtemperature, fault diagnosis and isolation, self-recovery, CAN communication, and over-the-air(OTA) software updates. Protection strategies for individual circuits can also be configured through software, improving flexibility in power management and overall system integration.

Technical Highlights

① Protection Performance

  1. Improves switching response speed from the millisecond (ms) level to the microsecond (μs) level
  2. Supports real-time diagnostics and multiple protection functions, including overcurrent, short-circuit, overtemperature, and open-circuit protection

② System Reliability

  1. Extends switching life from approximately 100,000 cycles to more than one million cycles
  2. Improves current measurement accuracy from approximately ±5–10% to ±1–2%, while supporting load diagnostics and more precise current management
  3. Supports fault isolation and self-recovery

③ System Integration

  1. Reduces wire harness complexity and assembly costs while improving system integration
  2. Supports software-defined protection parameters, allowing protection thresholds for individual circuits to be adjusted without hardware replacement

④ Future Architecture

  1. Supports the E/E architecture requirements of vehicles equipped with L2+ advanced driver assistance systems
  2. Supports redundant power supply architectures aligned with ISO 26262 functional safety principles
  3. Supports domain-based and zonal architectures, OTA updates, and remote diagnostics

The solution can currently be applied to Instrument Panel Junction Boxes (IPJB), Interior Junction Boxes (IJB), and Underhood Electrical Centers (UEC), supporting evolving power management and system integration requirements in software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

This award represents a milestone in HULANE’s ongoing development and application of intelligent power distribution technologies. Moving forward, HULANE will continue to strengthen its integration capabilities across hardware, software, and mechanical design, while advancing intelligent power distribution and related automotive electronics technologies to address the evolving requirements of next-generation vehicle E/E architectures and diverse market applications.
