April 22 of each year is Earth Day, reminding businesses and society to rethink the importance of environmental sustainability. As the world moves toward the goal of net zero emissions by 2050, enterprises are not only energy consumers, but also key drivers of transformation.
HULANE Group continues to integrate sustainable development into its core strategy. From implementing green factories internally to energy transition and biodiversity protection, HULANE addresses environmental challenges through measurable actions and data-driven initiatives.

In response to the international 2050 net zero trend, HULANE Group has been steadily increasing its share of green electricity usage year by year, and in 2025 officially established the Group’s medium- and long-term green electricity targets, moving toward 50% green electricity usage by 2030.
In 2024, HULANE Group’s green electricity usage rate was 13.31%;
by 2025, it had increased to 30.72%, more than doubling within one year.
This growth comes from a number of proactive measures, including:
• Installation of solar power generation systems at plant sites
• Procurement of green electricity for production use
• Continuous optimization of energy management mechanisms

The original plan set the target at 25% for 2026, 30% for 2027, and 50% by 2030. The actual result in 2025 has already exceeded the originally planned 2026 target, demonstrating HULANE’s strong execution in energy transition.
The increase in the proportion of green electricity not only helps reduce carbon emission risks, but also further strengthens supply chain resilience by introducing green factory production and delivering low-carbon products to customers, thereby creating a more sustainable and resilient manufacturing environment for customers and partners.
In addition to energy transition, HULANE has actively focused on biodiversity issues since 2025, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 15): “Life on Land.”
In 2025, the Taipei Plant took the lead in launching a one-month “Walk to Plant Trees” campaign, encouraging employees to accumulate environmental contributions through everyday actions. A total of 147 employees reached the target, jointly planting 6 trees, which were entrusted to the Kaohsiung Association for Tree Planting for planting in the Jiading Wetlands in Kaohsiung.
Continuing this concept, starting from March 2026, the Taipei Plant further launched the “Healthy Forest Walking Challenge,” a campaign lasting 274 days. Through long-term walking and mileage accumulation, the initiative combines employee health promotion with tree-planting actions, integrating the concept of sustainability into daily practice.

Building on the foundation established in 2025, HULANE Group further launched the “Thousand-Tree Planting Plan” in 2026 as a practical response to SDG 15.
The tree-planting targets for each plant are as follows:
• Taipei Plant: 250 trees
• Nanjing Plant: 150 trees
• Jiaxing Plant: 150 trees
• Indonesia Plant: 1,000 trees

Some plants will promote these actions by participating in government tree-planting activities, while others will adopt saplings and entrust professional organizations with planting and maintenance, ensuring tree survival rates and long-term ecological benefits.
Through cross-regional deployment, HULANE extends its ecological commitment from Taiwan to overseas plants, continuing to advance green energy transition and ecological conservation efforts.
